We provide an overhaul service for the Clutch slave cylinder Ford Transit Durashift / ASM clutch slave cylinder (clutch actuator). Throughout the repair procedure, the cylinder is equipped with new seals sourced from a specialized company in Germany. These seals are precisely engineered to meet the demands of hydraulic fluid and are compatible with the Durashift / ASM system’s operating conditions. Additionally, if required, we perform inner wall grinding on the cylinder.
The clutch slave cylinder is a frequent point of failure in the Ford Transit Durashift / ASM system, particularly with high mileage, increasing the likelihood of developing a leak. Consequently, the Durashift / ASM system loses its ability to engage the clutch effectively. The gearbox may either fail to engage the clutch or do so with stuttering and shaking. Additionally, hydraulic oil leakage from the cylinder is common, often dripping onto the clutch and rendering it unusable.
